Intellectually, we often are often convinced about what is the right thing to do and what is not. However, to live by these principles and to truly implement them within your life, seems a tough job. We have ambitions, but lack the discipline. We know we shouldn't get involved, but the other side within gets the better of us. We want to harbor positive emotions and thought, but we just can't. Why do we have such difficulty putting our ideals into practice? It's because intellectual conviction is not the same as transformation. The seed of this value we would like to live by is not planted deeply enough within us. We need to transgress the conscious mind, and sow the seeds of our intentions in our subconscious brain in order to truly experience the fruits in our day to day lives. How do we subsequently do this?
In this online Zoom course, we will explore the state between dream and sleep in order to discover the hidden world within ourselves: the subconscious, a place that is silently shaping the way we think, behave and feel. Yoga Nidra (or also called 'Yogic Sleep') is a Yogic practice that helps us to take charge of our mind, by transforming our self-limiting believes, (bad)habits, mental attitudes and trauma's. In this course, we will explore both the science and philosophy behind this technique. Besides that, you will learn how Yoga Nidra is praciced and how you can make sure it will be a valuable addition to your personal life!
